Huayhuash - Raura:
Very pretty and very isolated.
Few years ago Huayhuash was known to be hard to get to and very few people were doing the
circuit. Due to improved roads and the success of the movie Touching the Void
(Joe Simpson, Siula Grande is here) Huayhuash
has known an enormous increase in visitors.
The Cordillera Raura however is visited by a handful adventurers yearly and people who
are willing to hike through the Huayhuash mountain range for some days can also explorer the
Cordillera Raura.

Highest altitude: 4800 m (Paso Siula)

Day 1: Pick up Hotel Huaraz & Transport to Quartelhuain
Day 2: Quartelhuain to Mitucocha
Day 3: Mitucocha to Carhuacocha
Day 4: Carhuacocha to Huayhuash (the village Huayhuash)
Day 5: Huayhuash to Pataqcocha (Raura)
Day 6: Pataqcocha to Tinquicocha (Raura)
Day 7: Tinquicocha to Laguna Sarusaca (Raura)
Day 8: Laguna Sarusaca to Laguna Viconga. Visit the hot springs.
Day 9: Lake Viconga to Cajatambo. Overnight in Hotel in Cajatambo
Day 10:Transfer to Hotel in Huaraz.
